Autumnal
Equinox - Cancelled
The Autumnal Equinox, also known as Mabon in the Celtic tradition, is another point of perfect balance on the turning Wheel of the Year. It is one of two days each year in which the light and dark, day and night, are equal. This is an opportune time to take stock of balance, harmony, and rhythms of our daily lives. It is a time to ponder the equilibrium of seeming opposites; male and female, dark and light, inner and outer. It is also a time of celebration and thanksgiving for the second harvest. Please join us, in community, at Anam Cara Fields for celebration, ritual, prayer and thanksgiving for the Autumnal Equinox on Saturday, 9/23/23, from 5:00~7:00 pm. There will be time to commune with the land we are blessed to tend, the front pond and zen garden, and to walk the lavender labyrinth. We look forward to seeing you!
